Jackson Academy is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides educational services for K-12 students. An added feature is the exceptional Daycare facilities. Parents feel safe and secure knowing that their children are attending Jackson Academy. The entire faculty and staff strive to enrich the students in developing positive self-concepts about the world and their own individual experiences in life while providing academic experiences that will enable them to meet or exceed national, state and local standards in core academic subjects.
Jackson Academy is fully accredited by the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) and the Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACS).We hope you will become familiar with our school, and keep up to date with what's going on at JA, by visiting and exploring this site often. FRIENDS AND ME TUITION PLAN
Effective January 8, 2009
The Jackson Academy Board of Directors has approved a Friends and Me Plan to boost enrollment and save parents some money. This Program is effective January 8, 2009. This plan is offered on a first come-first serve classroom space available basis and the tuition credit schedules will be in effect for the next four years beginning on January 8, 2009. If your child attended Jackson Academy during the 2008-2009 school year, you will be considered an existing JA Family under the Plan.
Kid’s Fitness Center
The physical education department is excited to begin our own kid’s fitness center. The fitness center will be made up of several exercise stations and computer stations to help your child become more educated on being healthy. A couple days a week your child will have a chance to get a fun and educational workout during their physical education time. Some of the stations include: Hand weights, resistance bands, games, yoga, stretching, exercise bikes, treadmills, computers, exercise trampolines, etc.
